Geotextile

Geotextile that delivers something entirely new. Surface water carries pollutants into the groundwater, but aquatextile purifies surface water contaminated with oil before
it flows on. The material is made up of different fibre layers, treated with growth minerals, which absorb oil. The oil is then broken down and purified by the soil's microflora.

The contaminated water is filtered through the different layers of aquatextile. The upper layer breaks down oil using nature's bacterial flora, a process stimulated by the lower, rehydrating layer. This process purifies surface water and achieves the same high level of purification as the best oil separator. Furthermore, aquatextile is very easy to install and completely maintenance-free.

In combination with Hydroshark particle separators, we can build solutions for stormwater management with oil discharge requirements below recommended levels - meaning less than 3 mg/l.

Furthermore, we separate a large amount of solid particles – fprimarily heavy metals such as copper, zinc, cadmium, lead, chromium, particulate hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) and organic compounds - down to 63 µm.
