NOAQ BOXWALL™ 52

The NOAQ box wall is a freestanding temporary flood protection barrier. It is specifically designed for even surfaces such as paved streets but also works well on, for example, lawns.

Flood protection

A barrier is built by modules snapping together. No tools are needed. Curves are created by twisting the modules slightly when they are assembled, and there are special corner modules for corners. The barrier can also be used to divert water flows in the event of torrential rain. A number of modules are placed in the middle of the water current and immediately grip onto the asphalt.

Self-anchoring

The modules are 50 cm and self-anchoring. They are automatically ballasted by the weight of the floodwater itself. The higher the water rises, the harder the module is pressed against the substrate. By utilising the weight of the water in this way, the module itself has been able to be made very light.

Lightweight

The individual modules weigh only 6.1 kg each, or 6.8 kg per metre. This makes it both easy and quick to erect a barrier. Two people can build 200 metres in one hour.

Stackable

The modules are stackable, which means they take up very little space during storage and transport. 26 modules (23 m) fit on a standard loading pallet and just over 1.1 km of modules fit in a 40-foot container.
