Particle separators
A compact high-flow particle separator that can also separate oil enormous amounts. The complete insert is built into a suitably sized well which then slam catcher. We deliver Plug & Play solutions with the market's various types of wells.
Capacity
Corresponding areas from 1200-35000m². If you require larger areas, please contact us.
Separators
High separation performance – Pat. design. Separates particles such as hydrocarbons, metals, microplastics and PAHs. Also separates oil and stores it internally.
Flow
Handles flows from 50-1100 l/s (depending on size)
Particle filtration
Separates the entire 48% up to 63 µm!
Brunn
Delivered assembled in concrete or plastic well = Plug & Play.
Simplicity
Filter-free! Easy maintenance via vacuum suction. Full external access results in low service costs.
The smartest separator on the market!
Product information
The Hydroshark separates out hazardous substances carried in the stormwater. These substances are primarily heavy metals such as copper, zinc, cadmium, lead and chromium, as well as particulate hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and organic compounds – down to 63 µm.
The need to treat our stormwater is growing by the day! The key to purifying water is being able to remove suspended solids, or as they say out in Europa & Världen mentions TSS (total suspended solids). The definition of this includes all substances (particles) greater than 0.45 microns.
The priority for water purification is above all to be able to separate the truly small particles less than 200 microns. as these contain the majority of the pollutants, such as heavy metals, hydrocarbons and PAHs. Microplastics also fall into this category, e.g. small particles of tyre debris, etc.
The tests ultimately show that the majority of contaminants most often lie between 63 µm – 120 µm, why the focus for the development of our Hydroshark has been precisely in this area, i.e. achieving optimal efficiency.
Best used as an advanced pre-filter for all types of stormwater and attenuation tanks.
Instead of bypass-type oil separators for stormwater separation
Comes with various integrated inlet and outlet diameters.
More advanced option for oil separator class II
Can be easily applied to existing pipework.
Approved in accordance with official standards.
No steel.
Function
1. Incoming water flow is slung tangentially towards the centre of the hydro-separator.
2. Particles follow the flow downstream towards the bottom, while liquid substances remain. There by the water's surface.
3. The particles are effectively separated and remain at the bottom of the sludge trap via the combination from the built-in grate at the bottom of the hydroseparator, the installed wave breakers at the bottom and the relationship between the inlet and outlet areas which is specially adapted via its polished execution. No raised edge remains, which allows even the smallest particles to be separated optimal way.
4. A still and calm water flow is now rising and making its way towards the outlet.
5. The purified water passes through the toothing which is in a 360-degree surrounding. peripheral channel.
6. The water is finally discharged through the outlet (there is therefore no ”direct” connection) between the inlet (1) and the outlet (6).

Operations and Maintenance
The hydroshark has no filter and is cleaned cost-effectively and easily with a flushing vehicle. The upper part where the oil collects is emptied first. Then the grate is lifted and the three chambers are emptied of sludge/sediment.
Inspection
A visual inspection every three months. A sludge alarm can be connected to indicate when the sludge chambers are full.
