Flood protection
A barrier is built by modules snapping together. No tools are needed. Curves are created by twisting the modules slightly when they are assembled, and there are special corner modules for corners. The barrier can also be used to divert water flows in the event of torrential rain. A number of modules are placed in the middle of the water current and immediately grip onto the asphalt.
Flood protection
A barrier/embankment is built by modules snapping into each other. No tools are needed. Curves are created by twisting the boxes slightly when they are assembled, and special corner modules are available for corners. The protective embankment can also be used to divert water flows in the event of heavy rain. A number of modules are placed in the middle of the water flow and immediately grip onto the asphalt.
Self-anchoring
The NOAQ box coffer dam is 1 metre high and self-anchoring. It is automatically ballasted by the weight of the floodwater itself. The higher the water rises, the more firmly the dam is pressed against the ground. By utilising the weight of the water in this way, the module itself has been made very light.
Lightweight
The individual modules weigh only 15.2 kg each, or 17 kg per metre. This means that building a barrier is both easy and fast. Two people can build 100 metres in an hour.
Stackable
The modules are stackable, meaning they take up little space during storage and transport. 32 modules (29m) fit on a standard shipping pallet. Over 450 m of stable fencing can fit in a 40-foot container.
